If we keep playing like this i expect this to be Rafas last season with us because it has been dire since preseason. I know i have said this before but there has ben no change since preseason. Poor all round

It's ridiculous that there can be a beach ball on the pitch. Like watching clown football in more ways than one. However. We can't seriously be using this is an explanation of why we are **** against Sunderland.

Although it does not say "FOOTball" it is pretty obvious to a normal person that that is what they reference to in this rule.

Probably because he was in Argentina till Thursday.

It's not an explanation, just saying.

The BBC have just read out the rules and the game should have been stopped, a drop ball ordered and the goal should NOT have stood!

It was a beachball ffs,and the ball took a wicked deflection off it.The goal shouldn't have stood.Fckin can't believe our luck. And it was one of our fans that threw it on aswell.

Radio 5 Live have just said the rule is that the ref should have stopped the game, removed the ball/balloon, & restarted with a drop ball.

Anyhoo, we were still **** despite that incident. Can have no complaints with the scoreline.

but why did Rafa put him in the starting xi to start with then take him out?

Beachball with a LFC logo on it, apparently from a beach set which is on sale for £10 from the LFC store (used to cost £20). They just showed a picture of the whole set on canal plus

Don't know, maybe at Mascha's request, he may have been worried about injury.

Hope the ref gives us a decision to even it up. Balloon or no balloon, we've been second best. They don't seem to want it or be good enough - you cant get away with one of those but not both!

It was obvious from looking at it that it was more substantial than a balloon.

was thinking along the same lines......but here seems to be no urgency/desire/passion from the players
