This money excuse is really embarrassing to defend. We lost Alonso and got some money to buy Aquaman. Manure lost Tevez and Ronaldo and haven't (been allowed to) spend any of that money. They're currently winning 2-0 with a lazy arse (Berbatov) and a crock (Owen).
