But we don't have any creative players available to so Gerrard must replace Lucas in the middle????Originally posted by SimonNo7 View PostTo be honest I think where he plays Gerrard is actually correct, it's other creative players that we need. Quick wide players and another creative central midfielder.
Another thing is to leave us with an attacking force of Torres, Voronin and Ngog (I'm classing Kuyt a very good striker in Holland but now a right midfielder) is unbelievable. The argument that we couldn't get other top strikers to play second fiddle to Torres I would say have a look at some of the other teams in the Premiership and their 4 strikers!

Of course Alonso has left but **** me it can't have had that big an impact on our defence, attack etc.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Kuyt couldnt hit a barn door.... Hes not good enough for a top team in the world. Simple. Squad player yes, dont tell me he is good enough to command a place up front or as a right winger when we are in Anfield. 4 defeats in a row is not acceptable. We are a laughing stock.Originally posted by SimonNo7 View PostTo be honest I think where he plays Gerrard is actually correct, it's other creative players that we need. I think that there's plenty of critical thinking on here....Originally posted by Mattshark View PostDon't expect critical thinking here, that is way too much to ask.

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Ok we were **** but we have 5 players who we have bought for over 15m and they were all out
Gerrard
torres
Aquiliani
Johnson
only Masher of the big signings available and he is a defensive player......its very hard to perform when we have ALL our big attacking players missing._____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

I love Rafa but ****..what the **** is going on. Something majorly wrong is going on behind the scenes somewhere. This is what happens when you finish 2nd and break even on your summer transfers though. We've stood still squad-wise, and taken a massive step backwards confidence-wise and mentally. The momentum is gone and we're "hungover" I suppose you could say
For me he has to stay though. He has been (imo) the glue holding us together with the Yanks in charge. We've sadly suffered from a lack of form of big players, injuries, and all-round bad luck at times. Rafa has to be able to finish what he started, with proper financial backingSack swinging like Dub-D40 on a door hinge

I'm pretty sure thinking is at a bare minimum actually.Originally posted by FatTony View PostI think that there's plenty of critical thinking on here....

No chance.Originally posted by frank the tanki just got a text from a mate saying that he has walked.....
Look, I hate the way we play under Rafa, and since Sunday I've been critical of Rafa but this is not the time to sack anyone. End of the season we should have a look. I just don't see any manager who can come in at this point in the season and transform us. Let's take a deep breath and see what happens. If we get Gerrard, Torres, Aquilani back we could go to Lyon and win.
I thought we were good in patches but lacked a leader when the pressure was on. We were poor again in the final third. We are up against the eight ball but I was encouraged that we were a little bit better than Saturday.

That's very true & Carra + Agger looked good again......... untilOriginally posted by nebbers View PostWell a least Kelly looked good.
Considering the role he was asked to play I thought Ngog played well enough.
Flashes of good from Masher & Benny,
Reina...... is there a better goalie in the world?
The rest were pretty anonymous, especially 2nd half.I don't need a lift, I need ammunition
