Kelly is a very good player. Ngog proved to me again that he's better than Babel. Less raw talent but so much more intelligence. Mascher's back. Aurelio's getting better and Benny's finding his form again. Oh yes, Agger's back.
    One tit for another.

Yes Babel £14 million down the drain, cheers Rafa! Didn't Pako leave because he didn't rate him......?

Because he's better than the alternative two experienced international back-up strikers we have? N'Gog was rubbish tonight, but there was too much expected of him to play as a lone striker. I still think he's a reasonable player, but we lack someone who has guile and pace - how we could do with Bellamy right now.

perhaps because we only ever play one up front, name a decent striker that would be happy to sit on the bench hopefully for most of the season?

or the fact he is our only option so lets get behind him. i thought he did alright tonight, I really did. he's not the worse striker we've had on our books.

do you remember anelka when he first appeared? or hadn't you discovered football by then? his touch was awful.

                    Positives

                    - Kelly, a breath of fresh air.
                    - Pepe - I will ****ing cry like a baby if and when this colossus ever leaves.
                    - Mascher looked more like his normal self. About ****ing time.
                    - Agger is back.

Aside from that there was nothing to get me excited. Ngog, Insua and Lucas are so clearly never ever going to be good enough. Better stop there.

                      Kelly
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Positives, we got another record today

Last game, the first goal against any team from a beech ball, no not a balloon, a beech ball

and 4 straight defeats in a row since 1987, a club record for 2009.

                          Things are looking up

N'Gog is not the answer and would not get in any other premiership starting XI. FACT.

Which is why Torres plays poo in some games as he knows that there isn't any competition for places at the club!
he would if there other strikers were injured?????

and you do realise that Rafa has only been here 5 years? and only controlled the academy from this summer? you do realise he wanted change there as he wasnt happy with the way things were going?

we have some superb youngsters that will come through over the next few seasons.

NGog tried but doesn't have the quality to be in the first team. Needs too many chances to score and his miss was critical.

                                Two positives: Reina and Kelly.
