    Who?

I would like Rafa to stay and allow him to buy his first choice players wouldn,t that benefit our squad?

Nearly everybody on this site is calling for Rafa's head but like i've asked before who would replace him and hit the ground running [meaning someone who will be used to managing premiership teams and their players]?

I can only think of Capello but what do you guys really think? Who is the man?
We cannot in this climate wait another 5 years for someone to reach a peak with an entirely new team [Man City,Spurs,Villa,Everton will not allow it].

I'm not sure that's true. I'm not for one.

I doubt everyone is and i'm certainly not - But if he was to go, who's available thats better than Rafa. No-one

Rafa aint going nowhere - We can't affiord to sack him as we don't have the money to do it.
I make no apologies, this is me

Those calling for his head are just idiots.

I'm not one of those calling for his head but something that doesn't seemed to have been mentioned amongst all this calling for Rafa's head (and to be honest I've only seen a few on here) is what do we think about the players thoughts about Rafa. Do they still believe in him?

Are we possibly heading towards a Chelsea and Scolari situation where some players are just not trying but if a new man came in they would straight away change their attitude as the Chelsea lot did with Hiddink?

I would just like to reiterate that I do not want to see Rafa go.

Appointing a new manager will mean we have to wait for him to overhaul the squad, and given we'll have to pay off Rafa and the coaching staff aswell as a number of players, we're not going to have the money to compete. If we get a new manager we will move backwards before we can move forwards, so another 5 year plan is inevitable IMO, unless we get major investment in buying new players (which won't happen)

              Me neither
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Well he's certainly got to be worth a shot as Ngog is quite clearly not there yet.

Not really this is our first real bad patch for 22 years

I'm not calling for his head, we're in a bad bit of form, not playing well. Swapping mamnagers at the first sign of trouble is what landed Leeds and Newcastle in it.

Rafa does need to improve, the crazy substitutions need to stop.

When we beat the Scum on Sunday all of those callign for Rafa's head will be declarign him the best manager in the world, it's like Jekyll ands Hyde with some people on here
                    Justice for the 96

If we beat the Scum on Sunday (which is going to be a tall order considering the team we may well put out - possibly no Gerrard, Torres, Johnson or Riera) I will not be declaring him the best manager in the world, I will just be praying that it was the point when we turned our season around.

I want Rafa to finish this season and then to go and be replaced by either Jose or Hiddink.

The owners can **** off too. Clean sweep needed.

I have a feeling that it would be nigh impossible to get either of those two.

Regardless of how the season ends up?
