I'm talking about the same thing. Keane wasn't that much of an 'outlet' last year when we faced them so I don't know how you can class him as an 'asset' compared to the purported lack of options this time around. We've still got Riera and Torres to count on for this match (as both have a chance to be passed fit), who are both first team players. Keane was not.

We didn't have as much bad luck with injuries last year (apart from missing on Torres and Gerrard). That is the difference. Any team would struggle without the likes of Johnson, Gerrard, Riera and Torres at the same time.

Well, we beat them at Anfield without SG and FT last year (although Alonso was probably playing!!) Utd are not a great team either these days.

Scored 7 goals (and was usually dropped for the next game), gave us a plan B if games weren't working out and gave us an experienced, class, back-up striker if Torres was out.
