we needed a massive result today and we got one. **** me we were fantastic and should have won by a greater margin.

They had 2 shots all game and looked well short of ideas without ronaldo and tevez. We have shown the rest of the league what they are and that they shouldnt be feared.

This is not the same united team as last year and hopefully the rest of the teams will go out and hassle them like we did.

I thought our formation was spot on today and we really needed this.
