Sorry guys but, as great a day as its been , doesn't this performance merely compound how piss poor we've been lately. Fulham away is now a huge game. Win that and our season's back on track. Oh and by the way: Torres

          Agger,Carra,Aurelio,Masher,Lucas,Benny,Torres,Kuyt all immense today.

          great win.

when theres a rot to be stopped theres no better cunts to do it against than them.

Hang your heads all ****s who thought we'd be hammered

I hope all the cunts who slated those players after Lyon feel like the cunts they are

To all those that said sack Rafa...............

            Shame on you.

Judge him and his team at the end of the season. Not before. We have just come of the back of a fantastic campaign and we need to see what happens with Aquilani before judging him.

Foolish to do other wise. If it's easy to stick the boot in after a bad run, then it's equally easy to play up the teams chances after a great win - So I will be proud of Rafa and the lads today.

But we weren't the worst team in the world after Lyon and we aren't suddenly the best team after a win against (IMO) our biggest rivals.

And all without Gerrard, Riera, and Aquilani.

Great result and a massive confidence boost for the lads.

If we'd have shown a shred of today's commitment against Lyon then we wouldn't be headin' out of the champions league. You should also consider curbing your language when referring to your fellow (opinion owning) Reds

All correct. But wavydavy, we're quick to sulk after a defeat so why not celebrate after a win? As Mick said, why can't we play like that every week, but it matters not, it's only the future that counts - not yesterday, when all our troubles did not seem so far away. **** Yesterday, it's a crock of ****.

My biggest gripe today was the fans. They were ****ing sensational. Immense. Why the **** can they not sing like that every week? Fans are humans, but so are players. The attitude and desire of humans is to be expected to be higher in these types of games. They need each other to provide. But the fans are KEY to whether or not we can end the season as winners.

The players showed commitment against Lyon. They juat faltered under the pressure of an equalizer and got punished on the break whilst in search of a winner.

It is the preformance against Sunderland that can not be excused.

And for your information Davy, we are not out of the Champions League just yet. Gerrard and Torres v Lyon could make a big difference.
