As i said in midweek, the true liverpool fans can see with their own eyes that its hard to compete when 5 of your best players are injured

We got a couple of them back today and it made a massive difference. ****ing awesome performance

Pennant is right, they are restricted. But until we have a player like Ronaldo they can expect to be under the same restrictions.

Babel is a case in point. With no duties at the back and given a free role (as he would in a lesser team) he would be sensational. But top teams require players to be effective in all areas. Only players like Ronaldo can be given free reign as they will win you games on their own.
        Forwards.......

Yossi's pass for Torres's goal...WORLD CLASS, can't praise that pass highly enough.

And Brilliant that it was Ferdinand haplessly chasing down Torres to no avail....great finish too, up into the top of the net, such composure. Happy days.

                  But why?

The fact remains he should not be back up to Torres, he should be brought through slowly. He's no wonderkid but to expect that of every young player trying to suceed at our club is foolish.

Give him time. He lacks a killer instinct that can be learned as yet.

but he has to be back up to torres he is the best of the rest surely??
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

In my opinion, he isn't good enough. I just can't see the potential either.

That said, I'm pleased he scored, and I hope he turns into great player.
                          Oh I don't know.

He's a striker though, different case.

Ronaldo was like McManaman for us. Free role with license to do as he pleases. He did play up front for the Mancs too, but even when on the wing he was not asked to defend. Because what he brought to the team attack wise offered more than they lost by him not tracking back.

Pennant and Babel wish they had what Ronaldo had. But they are simply not in his class.
