    This takeover talk

    A source involved in a previous Gulf-based bid for the club says: "There's a feeling among potential investors that they may as well wait for things to reach crisis point at Anfield, wait until the Americans are forced to find a way out at a reasonable price, than pay way over the odds now. Nobody is in a rush because the club is going nowhere fast with them in charge." (Times)

    This would seem to be the case... Brinkmanship at the highest level... David Moores... Hang your head! (my opinion of course!)

      I dont agree with this, we just signed a mega million new shirt sponsorship deal, discussion are on course with a major partner for the stadium naming rights that will make the emirates deal look just silly.

      David Moores unfortunately couldnt see the big picture.

      Football is now global. Whether you like it or not. Liverpool sell more merchandise abroad than they do in the UK.
