    Yossi

What a brilliant, special player this guy has become for us; never moans if not starting; always makes an impact; always makes space for himself and others and is having big impacts for us in important games. For £4m he was an outstanding signing. His ball through on Sunday was Dalglish or Beardsley-esque. Sheer brilliance.

I was saying he was class all of last season, and that he needed to be played centrally to get the best out of him. Played wide he looks awful, in the middle superb. I sometimes wonder about managers who think they know best playing players out of position.

I worry the poor bloke will lose his position to Aquilani. HE certainly deserves to keep his place once Gerrard is back. Gerrard should replace Lucas, and it sounds as if Rafa has that intention once Aqualani is fit, so why not do it now to accomadate our in-form player?
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

You're oh so wrong. Yossi actually gets infield so many times during a game as he's constantly inter changing places with Dirk. To say that he's played out of position is ludicrous.

I don't think thats Rafa's intention at all. I think he will play Aquilani as one of the 2 central midfielders. Against United, it seemed as if Lucas had a license to bomb forward when appropriate and I think this is preparing the team for Aquilani.

I really wouldn't mind seeing Gerrard, Yossi, Kuyt trio behind Torres with Masch/Lucas and Aquilani pulling the strings in midfield. That tro can alternate between each other as Yossi and Kuyt did throughout the United game. Add Johnson and Insua/Aurelio running the lines and that's a line up that has a hell of a lot of goals in it.

It'd be a joy to watch.
