After seeing the first team and back up players this season I would say the only player we really suffer without is Fernando Torres. We have decent enough cover in every position bar Striker IMO.

We obviously lack creativity in midfield without Gerrard and Aquilani, but Yossi has shown he can step up his game and I'm looking for him to be a big player for us this year.

That said, the comments about Gerrard's injuries do not fill me with confidence, short term or long term.
