More than half of the players in our squad today aren't fit to play for the reserves, let alone wear the first team shirt.

I generally think Mancs/Chavs/Blue Mancs/Villa/Spurs/Blue****e all have better squads than us this year.

              Sadly, it's happening too often.

a loss against lyon and Rafa is under enormous pressure again, awful play by kuyt for their second goal, that was the turning point in the game with torres off we;d no chance to winning at that stage - bad day for rafa

What the **** just happened? We were good in the first half, no probs even until Nando went off and then it rained goals and red cards.

I'm in a state of shock to be honest. The crushing pain and embarrasment should follow later. What a ****ing nightmare on Halloween that was. Season could be over next week as we are out of the league, Carling Cup and hanging by a thread in the CL.....as is Rafa's job.

I think if we lose in France and then one of our next couple of league games Rafa will get the boot, we will drop out of CL qualification (top4) and spend the rest of the season trying to gel with a new manager before next year

He had the match against Lyon in mind, that was no tactical decisions. Everything went wrong today, **** it, everything went wrong this season. The defence has been a shambles and the main reason we're losing games.

We've been hindered massively by injuries, true, and I very rarely criticise Rafa, but....

30 minutes into the second half, surely everyone in the whole world can see that we were having massive, massive problems with the three behind the striker, especially Kuyt (who looked knackered) and Voronin who was completely useless. Fair enough if he wants to change the striker, but change other things when they blatantly aren't working

We completely lost control of the game second half. **** knows why to be honest

I am a massive Rafa fan but this is utterly depressing. We rarely lose this many games in a season under Rafa, and it's only the end of October

That's what I'm thinking. We were controlling the game and looked to be set for the second half. Then it all went wrong and we never got going in the second half, for no particular reason. That team was all over Fulham, despite not creating many chances. Maybe they were sitting back too much and when they started getting at us we couldn't cope.
