I'm sick of media whore ex-players who couldn't cut it against us (some even for us) using our current problems to get the revenge their footballing "abilities" couldn't. I'm sick of Sky TV's clueless presenters peddling myths off as facts to try & get Rafa the sack. I'm sick of idiotoc Mancs laughing at us. I'm sick of gob****e Chelsea fans having a pop.

I don't want to debate the accuracy of these reported facts & figures. I don't want to push some pseudo political agenda against the owners. I don't want to theorise about tactical nuances that could have made a difference. I don't want to debate Rafa's success / failure in the transfer market & I don't want to mull over who would be the best manager to come to our rescue.

I want a reaction.

I want the players to adpot a siege mentality, a "**** you" frame of mind. I want them to go out & play like their lives depended on it, like every game was their last.

It's the only way the club have got to get themselves out of this mess in the short term.

We need to stand together now. None of this sulking from players because this and that player gets to play and I am better, none of this Rafa is a bit of a prick and I don't like him. It's backs against the wall now.

They showed they were behind him with the performance against Man Utd.

There is no doubt that the squad we have available are capable of winning away in France.

This thread asks for a reaction and we'll get one against Lyon. There will be no shortage of effort tomorrow night - you can count on that. We just have to hope the quality is also there on the night.
