We'll get fourth with our eyes shut and one foot tied behind our backs. We've much more quality to come back than Houllier had. However, fourth or third is the best we can hope for in the years to come.

There's so many trolls in here. Yes we are frustrated but the lads have put a great performance. Defensively we were good, we should have scored as we had at least 4 clear chances. It's a bit of a shame that we conceded so late but we shouldn't point the blame at them. We're back on track if we put in more performances like that. We played Lyon off the park on their own patch and we should be proud of it.

Its a mirror image of houlliers last season! Letting hyppia go and not signing a striker this summer has cost us no end. I dont include Alonso as he wanted to go and we had no choice but **** me going into this season with only torres as a main striker. Gutted.

We're not going to take that competition seriously anyway, and we'll have lots of Sunday/Monday PL fixtures which is quite ****.
