Someone on KT has posted a rumour (with the traditional a friend of a guy at work source) that Rafa is to leave at the end of the season due to deteriorating relationships with some of the players including SG.

It seems almost too neat an explanation for our crap form and for that of Gerrard.

I can confirm this as one of the winos by the Spar on Dale street in Liverpool said the same, and he has no access to the interweb.

The rumour seems to be doing the rounds. He said it looks like Moyes is going to be appointed as his successor.

One of my buddies at work collared me as soon as I walked in today telling me he had shocking news. Now I hasten to add he is not a Liverpool fan but has been pretty good with info in the past from his source. His source is a family friend who he claims is well connected at the club - I cant prove or disprove his claim.

Basically he told me that his friend has indicated that Rafa has said he wants to leave at the end of the season. He also said that the reason for this was mainly down to his relationship with some of the players, including SG, not being as it should.

Like I said, its just what I have been told, and for what it is worth I dont believe it. Its a discussion forum and as such thought I would offer it as a point to discuss...
