One of my buddies at work collared me as soon as I walked in today telling me he had shocking news.

How likely is that? Really? Collared by a work colleague as soon as he walked in with "shocking news". Can anyone picture a non Liverpool fan acting like this?

Now I hasten to add he is not a Liverpool fan but has been pretty good with info in the past from his source. His source is a family friend who he claims is well connected at the club - I cant prove or disprove his claim.

A family friend who HE claims is "well connected" at the club. So a work "friend" has a "family friend" who he CLAIMS is well connected at the club.Clearly dodgy

Basically he told me that his friend has indicated that Rafa has said he wants to leave at the end of the season. He also said that the reason for this was mainly down to his relationship with some of the players, including SG, not being as it should.

"his friend has indicated" How exactly did he indicate it? The lack of clarity in this statement "indicates" it's BS. Why would Rafa tell anyone he wants to leave at the end of the season? Why tell anyone and why wait until the end of the season? This is the same SG who during the summer Rafa said he wants Stevie to become his assistant and takeover as manager eventually.

Like I said, its just what I have been told, and for what it is worth I dont believe it.

Then why embellish the story with all this stuff about how well connected this work friend's family friend is and how good he has been in the past with info?

Its a discussion forum and as such thought I would offer it as a point to discuss...
