As people say it depends on the fee received from Josemi aswell, I guess as in financial terms players clubs assets and as such for the club(s) will probably have to specify a value for the player. Maybe the two clubs got together when they did the swap and agreed this value for each player? Just a thought.

Not a penny changed hands in this transfer. The 4.3m was a nominal fee assigned to both players in the player swap. We got 4.3m for Josemi, they got 4.3m for Kromkamp. I have neither the time nor the inclination to spend hours trawling back through the annual reports and accounts, but I remember clearly Tim on RAWK explaining it at the time in his review of the annual report and accounts. I remember it because the statement in the accounts that this Jaimie Kanwar (who's he/she?) found raised a few eyebrows at the time.

So it's right in the sense that we were happy to value Kromkamp at 4.3m, but only because they were also willing to value Josemi at 4.3m too. Would we really have got 4.3m for Josemi from anyone else at the time?

The thing that ****s me off is, forget what a tool this guy is even if he's right about the Kromkamp fee but not considering how much we got for Josemi, none of it means a ****ing thing in terms of how right or wrong the figures for the other transfers are. They might be massively in Rafa's favour at the moment, they might be massively against him.
