    Djibril Cisse on Ngog

Djibril Cisse believes David Ngog can follow in Fernando Torres' footsteps and become one of the most feared strikers in England.
The France international, who now plies his trade with Greek side Panathinaikos, reckons his compatriot has all the attributes to make a big impact in the Barclays Premier League, and is tipping the 20-year-old to take his game to a new level alongside El Nino.

"Ngog scored against Manchester United recently and it is great for his confidence to find the net in such a huge game like that," Cisse told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"He's still very young and it will give him the belief that he can go on and make a big impact this season.

"He's a talented player with really good technique and pace. He trains every day alongside a player like Torres so he can learn a massive amount from him.

"Fernando's movement and all-round ability can rub off on David and if he can pick up any tips from him, then it can only serve to improve him as a player."

I'd have him back ahead of Voronin any day.

I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

Are you serious? I know the debate is effectively the equivalent of sorting out who is the least worst of the two, but if forced I'd pick Cisse a million times ahead of that listless shaper Voronion.

Ciise is fast and did score some goals for us. I'd take him every time over Voronin.

I would like to add my name to the list of those who would take Cisse over Voronin.

Cisse is a deeply flawed player but he has real pace and knows where the net is.

Exactly. For someone who was supposed to be ****, Cisse did score goals and could change games.

                      Voronin is horsefart.

This is an absolute no brainer - Cisse every time.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

                          The fact's,with respect:

Cisse's scoring record for Liverpool was 22 goals in 49 games. That's almost 1 in 2.

Voronin scoring record is 6 in 33 games.

Now Mr Fierce,I'm not even going to bother doing the math on that one.

If you would rather Voronin instead of Cisse, that's your uneducated choice, but please, get off your high horse and don't insult someone that's been following Liverpool for almost 30 years to say they know nothing about football.

A couple of years ago, I would have responded to your post with the contempt that it deserved, but you ain't worth it.

Get some Dvd's out and educate yourself.

Books are always a good reference tool as well.
