1 win in 10 games and no width whatsoever and no £20m player even though he is on the bench and the fact we have no creativity in this team apart from a semi fit Benny and Stevie if he drops back a little. Poor and very very disappointing.

Re: Aquilani, maybe he would've come on and scored the winner or maybe he would've aggrevated his injury. The way our injury problems have been going this season I don't blame Rafa for not taking that risk. Hopefully, he'll be at it soon.

Depressingly about the happiest I have been this season have been the last two weeks with international break

The most worrying thing is that it's the same problems that are hurting us again and again and I don't see how they are going to be redemied anytime soon.

And the Aquilani situation is farcical. You buy a £20M player. He misses the first few months through injury, fine. He has been in training now for a month. Unless he's made of paper maiche and Rafa is worried about him going limp in the rain I see no reason why he can't play. Gerrard against Birmingham and Yossi today both got rushed back due to injuries despite not being fully fit. If they can do it why can't our Italian?
