Our luck with injuries have been ridiculous this season. I've lost count of the number of times we've had to make an early substitution. Throws the whole game plan out the window. Today Gerrard seemed about 80%, same with Benni, It's just desperate at the moment but I can't wait to have that first team. Will piss on most teams.

He has to start at some stage. We can't protect him forever. If not midweek we'll say he can't start a derby then there'll be another excuse next week. Before we know it it'll be May and he'll still be on the bench.

sounds stupid but could it be that rafa doesnt fancy aquilani after seeing him in training.

we are drawing 2-2 against one of our rivals with 15 to go why not try and win the match with aquilani ?

we go to make sure we dont lose the match instead of trying to win the match.

I couldnt see fergie, ancelotti or wenger making decisions like that. No matter which way we look at this benitez is a defensive minded coach. Its surprising given that we cant defend for ****.

Skrtel was poor, arguably at fault for both goals.

I didn't have a problem with Insua

Benayoun I would assume came off for fitness reasons, Given he started on the bench I guess Rafa envisaged playing him for 30mins and he played about 70mins

Rafa probably was going to give Aqualani 20 minutes but the fact that Agger and Babel went off injured obviously screwed up his plans. What was he supposed to do bring Aqualani on for Lucas/Mascherano and leave Yossi on to possibly pick up another injury just to make people like you happy????

Of course we can't but surely 15/20 mins today would of been better than a game against a team over in Hungary who will quite possibly kick lumps out of us, because let's be honest they will think they have still got a chance to beat us into third in our group even though they have no points and are 4 behind us.
