Apparently there is a way Liverpool could change the permutations - if they win 4-0 tonight and Fiorentina draw, they would only need to beat the team from Florence 2-0 at Anfield in two weeks, not 3-0. On current evidence, 4-0 isn't beyond them - Debrecen are useless. (from BBC)

If we win and Fiorentina draw, then we have to beat them 3-0.

However, if we win by 4 goals and Fiorentina draw, then we only have to beat them 2-0.
