I don't want to be kneejerk and I still don't want Rafa to leave BUT his plan has all but derailed - we're now clinging onto the fact that we might still grab a Champions League spot for next year.

Injuries haven't helped us, and neither have a couple of freakish incidents but Rafa hasn't helped himself here.

Whereas before this season started I had total faith in his decision making ability now I'm riddled with doubts.

Strictly speaking the league isn't yet dead but we need to find the form of last year now and have Torres back and playing every league game - a fool's hope perhaps but its all we have.

It's an either/or between him and Mascherano - with both on the pitch there isn't enough craft however if Mascherano was unavailable I'd have no quarms in sticking Lucas in.

Mascherano is the better player though.

**** man, absolutely no creativity whatsoever. Barcelona tonight were the antithesis of how we played. An absolute joy to watch. They make it look so easy because, to a certain extent, it is.
