            the baying media are going to build this up to be a win or else situation, we have already been made favourites, purslow has said the competition is our way of breaking even financially, i am afraid to say if rafa does not give this tournament his uppermost priority it will be like the sword of Damocles and anything but 100 percent will lose him his job.

              Is there anyone else on here who think we've now found another way of piling more grief on the bitters? In years gone by we've stuffed them in the league and domestic competitions. An all merseyside final, which they'll be looking to get one over us only to be stuffed again!

                  How good would that be! In fact a draw against them in any round would be fantastic. Would really lift the gloom over crashing out in the CL.
