International football did. Making it for England first and not Liverpool ruined him.

I think he could be a great partner for torres he had the intelligence and vision for the one twos and through balls for torres. I don't see him being profilic more a creator

Pay, international football and bulking up didn't ruin Owen, although they never really helped - injuries clearly were the main factor.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

and his interest in horses, card schools etc

reference Pacheco - we need some spark - certainly in the attacking areas, our lack of strikers, or funding to bring someone in January is a big blow. Hopefully Pacheco comes in, steps up and provides that little bit of spark to get us going. He looks like a cocky greedy little ******* and it's exactly what we need - someone who will nto be afraid to actually try and score.

The uefa games are the perfect games to give him a chance - if he does well then he will give us the option for the league games.

I'd look at him and kuyt up front.

What I will say (talking from my experience), weight training has completely ruined the muscles in my legs. I never had a single muscle problem until I started doing weights a year or so ago. My groin was ****ed (it's better now 100%) and my calf muscles are ruined - I can barely play football at full pace.

I think the hamtring injuries he suffered from were possibly as a result of him bulking up. But a hell of a lot of quick players suffer with hamstring strains - the amount of tears they get in their leg muscles after running/playing football must be ridiculous. But the main injury that ruined him was the ACL knee injury. That has nothing to do with his weight - that could happen to anyone.

Oh, I'm not a fan of Dani Pacheco either. Fingers crossed he will prove me wrong and become a super-duper star.

That's the reason why I'm not a big fan of his - oh wait, thats exactly what we need! You are right though, he's not afraid to shoot or afraid of making mistakes (that sounds a lot like Luis Garcia). I wouldn't say he comes across as cocky though. He's great from set pieces too - actually I am now a fan of his
