Shouldn't be too hard really from what I've read on here

I expect to see him play like i've said many times, in all our cup games-europa,league,fa.
And on the bench for the premiership, with game time mainly against the crap teams.Though i'm not sure how many crap teams there are compared to us at the moment.

Pacheco has the arrogance and confidence in his own ability that comes from being a young player with little expected of him.
I wouldn't want or expect him to start too many PL games but when we're chasing a result I would rather he was thrown on ahead of Babel, Maxi or Jovanovich for example.

At this stage he has no fear of failure, might as well take advantage of it while we can
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

He has the balls to shoot, and take risks on the pitch. I think he will bring unexpectedness to our play especially later on

He sees the killer ball... and that's a big assett, along with his all round skill level, and he seems to have worked on his all round body strength and is beginning to look like the real deal.

Love to watch him play....hope i see him doing just that in a liverpool shirt for many many years to come.

Roy Hodgson has challenged Daniel Pacheco to fight for a place in his first team.

With Dirk Kuyt ruled out of action for four weeks with a shoulder injury and David Ngog a doubt for Sunday's trip to Birmingham City with a hamstring problem, the Spanish starlet could get an opportunity.

Liverpool's No.12 is highly rated by Hodgson and he is hoping the former Barcelona youngster will take his chance.

"I thought Dani did very well when he came on against Manchester City in the five or six minutes he played," said Hodgson.

"I also thought he did very well when he came on against Trabzonspor and he made a difference. He is a player that we really believe in.

"He is young but it is great that can keep giving him these opportunities and moments on the field and I think these moments will get even longer as the season progresses.

"Now we are in the Europa League, it is good for me too that I will be able to give chances to the likes of him, (Jay) Spearing and (Jonjo) Shelvey.

"They need games and we will have plenty of opportunities in the coming months."

Pacheco also has a burning desire to repay his manager's faith and added: "I hope I will play a big part.

"I know that I have to keep working very hard in training and I will have to take the chances that the manager will give to me."

                    Good to hear
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                      Yup.

Hope he sticks to his word. I don't want a total reserve team playing in the Europa as that defeats the object of the young lads playing in the first team, but I want a good number getting starts or coming of the bench.

Plus it is a competition we should be looking to win.
                      Forwards.......

With many of our players away on international duty over the last week or two, we took the opportunity to chat to Dani Pacheco about his summer with Spain U19s.

Our whiz kid was named player of the tournament at the European U19 Championships after his four goals helped Spain to reach the final.

Here he tells Liverpoolfc.tv how it felt beating England and what it meant to him to match a feat achieved by Fernando Torres.

How much did you enjoy your summer with Spain U19s?

I enjoyed it a lot. We have a very good group, a very good team and good people. We need to be proud of what we did because we went to the final and we were unlucky.

And you beat England along the way...

We beat England in the semi-finals and of course that was a nice day for us.

Your reserves teammate Chris Mavinga was part of the France team that beat Spain in the final. Did he give you a bit of stick afterwards?

Chris has been very good with me. He came up to me after the final to try to talk to me and help me - that was very nice.

                        Watch our Spain chat now

You were the top scorer with four goals - did you know Fernando Torres did exactly the same thing in 2002?

Yes, I knew that. I read it before the tournament that he was the top scorer when I think they beat England in the final in 2002.

You must have been proud to have been named player of the tournament, and do you think you've come back a better player?

Definitely. It's a very high level tournament and they're the most difficult games you can play in at our age group. It's always going to help you a lot. After we lost the final I wasn't too happy, even when I got the player of the tournament trophy. But now it's something I have to look back on with pride.

And of course Spain won the World Cup too. Where did you watch that?

We were all together with the U19s and we were in Madrid. We watched the game and celebrated afterwards.

                        How did you celebrate?

It was a bit crazy with people jumping in the swimming pool with clothes on and I was one of them.

Have you even contemplated one day playing for the Spain national team?

It's definitely a dream. It's a dream for every boy in Spain to play for the senior national team. It's very difficult but hopefully one day I can do it. But right now I'm thinking about the present. You need to work every day and try to meet your targets, keep going up and never stop.

Mavinga is a strange one, I believe he is 19 and he's been here a year yet he doesn't seem to be getting a first team chance. He's looked pretty decent from what Iv seen and obviously France rate him highly so im surprised he hasn't even got into any of our squads yet. Im sure he's not ready but surely he should be getting atleast a little first team experience?

Holy ****, can we afford to have such a loose cannon about the club???
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Absolutely. He is a natural talent and if Roy gives him a chance we may see some real nice performances from the youngster.
