    Bitters match thread

Liverpool have named an unchanged team for today's 212th Merseyside derby against Everton at Goodison Park - listen to the game live online from 1pm BST.

With Fernando Torres absent, derby debutant David Ngog leads the Reds' forward line with support from captain Steven Gerrard.

As in Budapest, Fabio Aurelio continues in a left midfield role, while there are also derby bows for Emiliano Insua and Glen Johnson.

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Insua, Mascherano, Lucas, Kuyt, Aurelio, Gerrard, Ngog. Subs: Cavalieri, Aquilani, Benayoun, Riera, El Zhar, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos.

No Voronin at all, is he injured? And no Babel, has Rafa given up on them?
    * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Voronin has supposedly been told he's never wearing the shirt again.

Good line up and probably the one I would have picked for this fixture. Any other game I would have looked to put Yossi in ahead of Fabio or Dirk, but I want Insua protected early doors and I think Kuyt always raises his game in this blood and thunder fixture.

Four attacking players on the bench is also a plus. I think all four are capable of doing something special and winning the game if needed as the game ticks on.
          Forwards.......

Really do tell??? Please be true
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

If we played derby games every week I'd buy players of his type by the bucket load. He will do well today, as he always does in the derby. This type of fixture just suits him perfectly.

Some potent weapons there from set pieces, it has to be a concern.

No real inside info.. the rumor is that he was laughing and joking when Lyon equalised and had a bit of a run in with Rafa.
