Fair enough mate I understand .. we are all on the same team at the end of the day.

For me, I am very protective of team and the club I think of it as an extension of my family, its like someone personally attacking a mate it difficult not to respond in kind. I think people should be mature enough to show the same respect to the team that they expect shown to them. In fact it would force people to actually think about what they are writing and I am sure this place would be a lot better for it

Everyone knows it and he's being targeted, which in itself means he's susceptible to being exposed more often than the others as so many opposition attacks come down our left, but he's being done time and again.

Feel sorry for Darby but I too thought he was an accident waiting to happen.

Wake me up when this season's all over.
Insua is ****ing useless isn't he, you just have to laugh at how bad he is

          Just analyse our defence:

Keeper did very well actually, and is like a mini-Reina clone, although obviously not in the same class should be easily good enough as his long term understudy.

Agger's missed much of the season and hasn't played himself into the form we know he has, didn't do much wrong tonight but I don't think he marshaled the backline as perhaps the elder statesman could/should.

Skrtel's form has dropped alarmingly and frankly at the moment I don't want him anywhere near our first 11. He always had obviously limitations, namely his distribution, but made up for that with his courageous attitude, strength, pace, and ability to unsettle the opposition, his decision making was always just about spot on. Now? I can't see anything good about him, an alarming slump and I just hope its something he can recover from.

Insua is still very young and still very raw, he had a stinker tonight.

Darby did ok, obviously ballsed up at the end, but generally made the right decision, has the look of the Carraghers about him, i.e. dependable, question is can he mold himself into another Carragher?! Still incredibly inexperienced.

So, it makes you wonder really whether its the fault of the manager or the players to throw together those 5 and not to expect it to be SOFT, which it is and we are. I'd like to think it would have improved with a Carragher and Johnson but I'm not convinced we wouldn't have dropped a clanger in the same way.

The two defenders we've lost close season have badly cost us - Arbeloa - Steady Eddy - play anywhere at the back, very occasionally switched off but usually gave a good 7/10 performance, and Hyypia the been there done that granite pro that could have been so very useful when you look at the fresh faces of Insua and Darby.

I hope he sticks around long enough to achieve these objectives that will be beneficial to Liverpool in the long run. Rather than have another manager comes in who wipes out all the efforts Rafa has done and focus on the short term goals to ensure their survival.

Aye Kuyt's another one that's doing my head in. How many blimin times was he caught off-side? FFS Dirk you're an experienced International player. Very poor.

I'm the same mate i am obsessed with everything LFC and i myself am very protective of the club and team. Don't get me wrong if a fan of another team gave me **** about how crap we have been i take it personally myself. Only another LFC fan can have a go about the state of our team to me and not get **** about it which is why i don't give people **** on here when they vent about the team and i just expect people to be the same when i vent.

Let's hope so. Howeverf, recent results and the fans sentiment are against him. Hopefully we can go on a run soon and all will be forgotten.

                                well we agree to disagree.

the win was not crucial to rafa , sure , would have been nice.

he blooded some younsters and got fitness for our arguabally our 3 most imprortant players in torres , gerrard & aqua. they were all injured , you know?

it was night a night to get a win at all costs, we had nothing to play for , on sunday we do

we can afford to risk things on sunday , but not tonight. i thought he did all the right things. aqua got 75, torres 30 , gerrard a full game. and i was alos delighted to see paceho get a run . and 18 year old with talent.
