Apart from Istanbul we've moved on **** all, we threw the championship away last year and might as well have finished in 4th 18 pts off the pace.

I got that wrong obviously ... to be truely Honest I did not realise they were as strong as they were.

I think people confuse pragmatism with not caring, I care, I think the fans deserved a result and i am sure everybody at the club wanted nothing more, it did not happen like that. It is what it is.

Arsenal at the weekend with a full strength squad I think you will find is a totally different game

we've hammered good teams at anfield before. don't delude yourself into thinking they were anything other than decent. they were well organised but when the draw was made we all thought it was a good group to have.

teams needed to work really hard to score against us but this season we're giving them away.

Not really, no. What he is likely to do in the future is the important factor. I don't think anyone is likely to do better with our circumstances, especially with a 20m payoff that rafa and his team would take. Let's stick it out.
