    A Song For Europa

To the tune of "That's Amore"

Whennnnn Tor-res scores a brace against Fenerbahce
    That's Europa!

When Gerrard seals the win against Werder Bremen
    That's Europa!

When Pepe saves the day at Galatasaray, we'll be singing! We'll be shouting!

At the Hamburg cafes we'll be drinking all day
    That's Europa!

    ...

Oh well, makes us smile at our little pub in Toronto

        Appreciated!

Hopefully next season we won't have the heartbreak of trying to think of things that rhyme with bloody "Europa"

Nothing. Just saying we may have had a better song on our hands if we could come up with something that rhymes with "Europa"

Oh well, like I said it put a few smiles on faces that weren't looking much forward to booking Thursdays off next spring, instead of Tuesdays/Wednesdays. That said, I'd still like very much to win this trophy. Silver is silver and we should always be well greedy for it.

And sure I still remember celebrating the UEFA cup in 2001 as any other trophy (league cup besides)

Me and all... but it seems our recent years of success have spoiled some of our supporters...

I'm dissappointed we're not in the CL as well, but I've seen posts on other forums all but advocating us throwing the competition!

I'll be in Toronto in 2 weeks time staying outside of the city itself, Bowmanville to be exact but plan on going to see the Toronto Raptors and spending a couple of days around Toronto! Anything in particular i should try and see in terms of touristy stuff?

First off, there is a tremendous Liverpool Supporters pub right beside Bowmanville. It's called the Courtyard, and it's in neighbouring Courtice. Dead simple to find, right on the main street (Highway 2). Two dollar breakfast, and a 160 member strong Supporters Club! I'm bringing a contingent from Toronto down there for the Arsenal match on the 13th.

Scallywags is the Toronto Supporters pub... great atmosphere and lots of friendly types. Full of Scouse ex-pats every weekend.

Going to a Raptors match is a terrific experience.... lotsa bells and whistles. The CN tower is always fun, since it's a pretty unique view of the surroundings. The Eaton's Centre is your one-stop place to buy Chrimbo gifts.

But basically, the only thing I stress on visitors to our fair city is that you must stop at Sneaky Dees, at the corner of College and Bathurst. Looks like a crackhouse from the outside, but has the best Tex-Mex food in the world inside. Kitchen is open till 4am, perfect for after a night on the piss.
