It would of been far worse if we would of lost.

      Ready......steady.... GO!!!

Now you can all have ago and slate me if you like.........well thats what happens on this site, ain't it??
i am trying and the reality is those that want Rafa sacked havent really thought it through in my opinion.

Its soooooo frustrating as when we click and we will again, we know we are a good team. I am clinging to the hope that Aqiliani starts wednesday, looks aawesome and he is our fabled 'missing link'

We have alot of good players and a few great ones.

We can't sack rafa, it would be too expensive. If people want him gone they're going to have to hope he walks. That isn't going to happen mid season, nor if there are no jobs for him to walk in to.

Which is why I say we should support him and make a judgement call at the end of the season.

At the end of the day it's another game we haven't lost and it's another clean sheet. At least we are starting to look solid at the back again.

Torres will likely be back for the next league game and Aquilani is finally going to play in midweek. Things are starting to look better than what they were. A couple of weeks a go we would have lost todays game.
          Forwards.......

I believe some of the players themselves are becoming disillusioned, especially taking into account the team selections and tactics.
I bet you are there are more than a handful of players who constantly wander why Lucas and Kuyt are undroppable, and why some of our up and coming youngsters can't even get a game. Also Aquaman....wtf?
He is really close to losing the dressing room and all fans imo, and next week's game against the gooners is huge.
If we do not win it - he has to go. he needs to accept he is too stubborn and arrogant and with the exception of a few individuals really has not made good enough signings and deployed decent tactics.... One dimensional = easy to read...end of!
            Rafa's fault 100%
Yes, Rafa is to blame ,but he isn't the only one, the players need to pull their finger out of their ****ing arses, the overpaid bunch of cunts. Over the years me and thousands of other fans have invested heavily into the club, financially and emotionally only to be treated to this ****. First it was the ******* owners and now Rafa and the fans making a mockery of the fans, how would they like it 40,000 turned up and treated the team like ****. The club treats us as customers, maybe it's we started acting like customers and start demanding value for our money.

You realise other teams win games with their best players injured. I dont like the idea that its ok for us to lose alot if 1 or 2 players are injured. Im expected to accept poor results because of an injury or two? That doesnt excuse the slow build up of play in every game. Its piss poor. I'm sick to death of everything since the whole bright idea of trying to replace Alonso.

What about the football we are playing. That's what pissing reds off! Not the fact that we didn't sign this or that player or that the owners didn't give Rafa enough money or that Aquilani is on the bench. Most reds I know realise we will win nothing this season and might finish fourth. All I want to see is some sign of creativity from Rafa. It's dreadful stuff to watch. 33 years watching the reds and this is worse than the Houllier days. Rafa might be getting us into the Champions league and might have won a CL, but the dire football we are being served up where we don't have a shot on goal for 45 minutes against Blackburn Rovers? Watching us is becoming bad for my health. I'm concerned Rafa has lost the dressing room and if so we are in deep ****, because he's not getting sacked any time soon. It's hard for me to not think however that a different manager would have us playing better.

Another clean sheet at a place where it's hard to get a result against a team whose strenghts mirror our weaknesses.

It was a step in the right direction, building confidence by staying solid and rebuiilding the belief in our defence. Was it great? No. Can we do considerably better? Yes. Will we? I think so.

I dont think a draw would of brought any kind of confidence. Last season our biggest problems were draws. Now they're a source of confidence? Stab me in the eye.

Our main threat in front of goal was charging down Robinson when it was passed back to him.

                        Rafa has to answer these questions;

How can the best chance of the game be created by a right back? (johnson)

What the f*** were the midfielders doing?

What the f*** were the wingers doing?

Rafa plays 4-5-1 (like Mourinho's Chelsea) but to play like this your midfielders have to score regularly. At Liverpool our midfield only knows how to defend.

                            We had Alonso supplying them.

I didn't see the game yesterday, and for all I can see on here I'm pretty happy I didn't.

What a poor result - all we can take from it I guess is that we had another clean sheet, which at least suggests that our defense is getting back on top.

But it is fairly depressing at the moment isn't it? I have long settled to be happy with finishing fourth, which in itself is very depressing. We have been **** this season and I don't understand why tbh. We have had little change in our team, and I really don't see the overall squad being weaker than last season- so wtf can't we get any results?

I'm frustrated like **** atm, and can't figure how my support for Rafa is right now - I'm still very fund of the guy, but I'm getting sick of the football being played and the player types being used - re: DM's and non-creative wingers.

We are just to reliant on Torres as a team right now - can do **** all without him, and that just says the policy for squad players have not been good enough, and we are stuck with being reliant on basically 1 player.

More depressing is that we have **** all to strenghten our squad for in january!
