I'm probably coming across as very pro-Rafa to some, I do think Rafa can and does make mistakes, but I don't see getting rid of him as a sensible option (or a good idea IMO). I'm trying to be realistic in my views. I can see what you're saying I too would have liked a back up striker to come in, but I just don't see where the money would have come from, no doubt some will say that we shouldn't have paid so much for Johnson, but I don't think that's fair he's been a good signing in an area we needed to make a signing to strengthen the first 11. In the past alot of people have critisised Rafa for signing squad players rather than first team players, this time he's done that, and people don't seem to want that. The problem IMO is we don't have the funds to compete where we should be in the transfer market. It's the net spend issue all over again. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The thing is, I don't necessarily think he should of definitely bought one this summer, I actually think he should of already had one. We should never of got to the position where we only really had Torres.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI'm probably coming across as very pro-Rafa to some, I do think Rafa can and does make mistakes, but I don't see getting rid of him as a sensible option (or a good idea IMO). Blue****e have got one back against Spurs. Can't believe I am actually hoping that the Blue****e score goals. It's things like this and cheering on Fulham that shows how poor our season is going

if you are asking me whether I think rafa would throw matches to prove his point my answer is an emphatic yes.Originally posted by red g View Postwhat a load of ****e, although maybe your onto something.....Torres is probably fit as well but Rafa is leaving him out to prove to the oweners we need a striker as well.....i think you need to take a long hard look at yourself if you think Rafa is the sort of bloke to throw matches which you are implying. Bang out of order i am sure he is hurting as much as us
He has done it several times to prove that his 4231 system works when we all know without torres it doesnt. Yet he sticks to his principles knowing full well that the system cant function without the most important piece.
he has thrown points away consistently on bad decisions and he sticks with **** defensive tactics when he knows they wont win the league.
If he really wanted 3 points why not throw aquilani on for the last 30 mins ?
He doesnt want to win enough at all costs. he wants to win knowing he is doing things his way and only his way.
we were **** against debrecen, we were awful against everton and we were **** yesterday. He is trying to prove that our squad isnt good enough and he has done that because 5 defeats in 9 league games isnt good enough for liverpool.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

It's still the same problem though whoever we'd hung onto (instead of selling) would have reduced our budgetOriginally posted by SimonNo7 View PostThe thing is, I don't necessarily think he should of definitely bought one this summer, I actually think he should of already had one.
