    Why Wasn't.......

    Carlsberg on our shirts?

    Clash of advertising, what?
    On the Ning Nang Nong
    Where the Cows go Bong!
And the Monkeys all say Boo!
    There's a Nong Nang Ning
    Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
    On the Nong Ning Nang
    All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
    So it's Ning Nang Nong!
    Cows go Bong!
    Nong Nang Ning!
    Trees go Ping!
    Nong Ning Nang!
    The mice go clang!
What a noisy place to belong,
Is the Ning Nang Ning Nang Nong!!

I thought it looked better without sponsorship. Just a bit of a reminder of the old days......ah nostalgia!

Had a feeling it might be something along those lines.

You know they sell sponsorless shirts in the club shop. Saw the home kit and the Euro away kit in there with no sponsor. For some reason though it jsut doesnt feel like our shirt

wonder what we'd have on the shirt if we played Copenhagen in the next round (which of course is highly unlikely)

                        Carlsberg. Well, probably...

You think it's unlikely we'll get through?
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

And the advertising campaign was "because you need brains as well as brawn to beat the French"
