Dossena is our best option on the left - he'll never be a decent left back in the Premiership, but he's certainly a good left winger with defensive qualities. I don't think he quite has the skill that Riera has, but he's more direct and more disciplined and doesn't give the ball away as often. He can cross the ball into dangerous areas.

Yeah because we've got brilliant alternatives done the left side with Insua and Riera don't we?

Dossena at least provides good width, can keep the ball, gets stuck in and delivers a good ball. He's far from top class but he did well last night and deserves a chance.

**** inspirational performances, he's been ****e lately and needs dropping. I say that even though i like him as a player but he's been dreadful of late and is in one of them ****ty runs of form.
