I would love to Aquilani get the nod but I see him on the bench with Rafa going for his security of Mascha and Lucas, even though we are at home and only 3 points will do. I hope he proves me wrong along with the team that goes out on the pitch.

I think Insua will be rested this weekend, I think if Insua were to play against Arsenal, Aurelio would have played left back tonight. Otherwise, I´m looking forward to seeing Torres, Gerrard, Johnson, Benni and Agger on the pitch together.

I reckon that's the team too. Though he could switch Aurelio for Insua despite last night's selection.

If we win then "hopeless, dreadful Liverpool who are way out of the title race and whose manager should be sacked" will be just a point behind Arsenal, albeit with them having a game in hand. Funny old game at times. Win this, and follow up with wins against Wigan at home, Portsmouth away, and Wolves at home (all very very winnable games now we have our first team back) and we'd be unbeaten in 8 games in the league and things would start to look very different at the top of the table. I know it's all ifs, but our season could turn round in the next few weeks. Then if we can just get some cover in for Torres in the window, even if it's just someone on loan until the end of the season, good times could be ahead and we can put the miserable last few months of 2009 behind us!

Do you often make up imaginary team sheets? Do you go the whole way and have pretend opposition so you can do your pretend tactics? I’d play Kuyt on the right if I was you and instruct him to support the forwards. The rest I'll leave to you gaffer.
