    Moral dilemma

    Hypothetical of course

We play Chelsea in the last game of the season - if we win we finish 4th but in doing so hand the title to Man Utd. Bear in mind this would be the first time in history that Man Utd would overtake us in league titles.

If we lose or draw, Chelsea win the league and we finnish 5th, losing our place in next years Champions league.

which scenario would you go for?

(although the above is hypothetical, worryingly we play Chelsea in the second last game of the season with Man Utds last game being Stoke so something similar to the above scenario could happen )

and let me add this to my decision, fergie is nearing his tenure and for him to not beat liverpools record would do his ****ing head in.

All i care about is LFC doing as well as we can, be that 1st or 18th.

I couldn't give a **** if united, chelsea or bolton won the title this year and took the record. Whoever wins the league deserves to and that's it.

Success is built on looking forwards, not over your shoulder.
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

I hope the cunts go bankrupt, plunged into administration and docked 700 points.

          Cunts.

As a football man, surely you'd prefer to be watching CL football? United overtaking us would obviously be an irritant, but it wont affect the football. UEFA cup next season will halfen the amount of players we could sign, and possibly force a few out the door.

Doesn't make much sense to me.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

i know what your saying and it makes so much sense and i will probably get lambasted on here for my views, but i honestly believe that ferguson is a phenomenon and when he leaves the scum they will become mortal like the rest of us,and we will go on to extend our record, look im old school and by giving up one seasons champions league and the money involved far out ways letting them ****s steal our record, plus it might get rid of those yanks, ok the words clutching and straws come to mind, buts thats what i think.

like it or not, if we are no longer the club with the most league wins after this season its purely because we dont deserve to be. that is a combination of man united getting their act together and david moores and the current pair's leadership of our club.

so frankly, i'd want us to beat chelsea, say fair play to the manc cunts and move on. in the CL not the effing europa league...
