Played well in the first half.
We were a bit unlucky with their goals but fell apart after the Arshavin goal. No excuses for that.
We spent the last twenty minutes hoofing the ball aimlessly upfield.
No cohesion. No confidence. No ****ing clue.
I really don't know where we go from hereA humble guy with healthy desire.

The first one was bad luck. The second one was great play from Arshavin.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostWe seriously need some luck to go for, it went completely against us with their 2 goals
We had half an hour to get back in the match after that yet barely mustered a coherent attack in that time. That's nothing to do with luck.A humble guy with healthy desire.

No I'm putting their goals down to luck. Reading helps.Originally posted by Rich View PostYou're putting the defeat down to "luck"?

It didn't really did it?Originally posted by Mattshark View PostWe seriously need some luck to go for, it went completely against us with their 2 goals
They came out and harassed us, we went 'ooh mummy they're bullying us, we don't like that', they got a lucky goal (yes lucky) but then went on and beat us fair and square. We are not a team, simple as that!!!

Not a knee jerk, but I think we have to ask ourselves how much longer can we go on as we are. I'm not sure how true the fact is but to have lost more games than Stoke is unacceptable. It looks increasingly unlikely that we'll break the top four and if we do it will be a struggle.
I'm not daft enough to suggest that we should be challenging for the league each year but for a team like Liverpool with players of the calibre of Gerrard and Torres it should be fairly confortable, even with City spending millions.
Even our second string should be capable of beating teams out of the top six. It isn't like we have premiership journey men, we have full on internationals.
Not a rant, just dawning realisation.
We are bad, really bad. Things need to change, if that means no more Rafa, then.....................Winning an argument on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win you are still a retard!

Yeah but how many times will you hit a shot like that and it'll fly over or wide? 9/10 probably.Originally posted by The Erectile Banana View PostThe first one was bad luck. The second one was great play from Arshavin.
