As much as I don't agree with some of the posters on here, I respect their opinions.

I know its tough supporting LFC at the moment. But I do think we need to back Rafa still.

One quick point. I watched the Boro vs Cardiff match. And if ever there was a reason to stick with Rafa till the end of the season, its there at Boro. They were woeful!... But back to LFC. All I can say is keep the faith. As supporters we have to enjoy the good times and stick together through the bad times.

and financially we're miles ahead of fulham, birmingham and stoke, but we're all grouped closely in the table.

What a dumb comment, on average the lack of Champions League football would cost us 20 million plus incrimental income such as merchandise, gate receipts etc. etc. You do the maths over 5 years and add to the fact we are playing relegation standard football (no, I'm not being sensationalise......see Leeds & Newcastle).

If he needs to go he'll go, for the sake of the long term.

3 wins in 15 games and our recent performances don't make me think Benitez can turn it around. I'm not sure what it is but there seems to be something fundemental broken in our team. It's hard to believe this is basically the same group of players that nearly won the league last season.

As for your second point. I don't think Wenger has ever gone on a run as bad as this and finances have nothing to do with it. On paper we have the team to beat most teams in the Premier League and Europe. Finances do not make us perform so poorly on the pitch.

Not really very lucky, well played from Wenger for turning it around at half time.

I can imagine his half time team talk - get one goal, LFC will fold.
That's true. You see Arsenal away from home playing with a more attacking side and then when 2-1 up and controlling the game bring on a defensive player for an attacking one.

We on the other hand, at home, do the opposite and that was only because Mascha picked up an injury. You have to ask would that change of happened if Mascha hadn't picked up that injury?

For now, we'll be ahead of them by the end of the season.

Dont get me wrong i am sticking with Rafa, this season is **** the last glimmer of hope went out tonight, we are not in a tough fight for 4th and nothing else matters. Hope fully we can come out of it stronger at the other end .. but the ****ing players have to take some of the blame also .. the team sheet was fine, the subs were excellent .. the perfomance was not there .. nothing going forward, little penitration and way too much ****ing long balls aimlessly wacked up pitch

Does anybody know how much the payoff for Rafa would be if he was fired now? And also similarly, what is the money produced from CL qualification? Are they similar figures? I really think at this point Rafa is about to lose the dressing room...and when that happens we'll truly nosedive into mid-table obscurity. The introduction of any new manager at all would bring a spark, but i'm worried that when that honeymoon period ends, we'll be no better off than with Rafa.

To be fair Lucas had a good match. He was our best player in the first half IMO.
