Thanjk you.

True, but then, to be brutally honest, Aurelio's been pretty woeful, thus far.
A half fit Harry Kewell would still walk into our current side.
If it was down to me, I'd play Warnock at left back and Riise in front on Sunday.
Heavens on earth - that's short-sighted at best.
Have you seen how poor Hyypia has been this season without Riise beside him?! Its an absolute must that Riise plays at LB. We'll need a tight back four at the scum. Hyypia gets dragged to the left all too easily when he doesn't have that understanding with Riise.
Above all else less keep that back four untouched on Sunday!!!
For me i'd play Aurelio at LM, despite previous protests for playing Gonzo more often. The reasoning for this is obviously Ronaldo. He's been in cracking form this season, and we need some doubling up/extra protection here!

Don't take life too seriously or you'll never get out alive.
Then play Warnock left mid. I agree that Riise and Warnock are the strongest combination. I'd not let Aurelio play.

Just been browsing the forums, i've seen a few posts questioning Mark Gonzalez's performance last night.
Righto, he didn't play very well. But let's just keep a few things in mind:
* We played like ****e.
* It was Speedy's first game in a while. Have we all forgotten how he played against Spurs, he was very good.
* He's still adjusting to the players around him, new country, all that crap.
* We've seen the quality he has, in some of his performances in Spain for Sociedad.
Be patient, and Speedy will repay your faith.
Well said, I thought he started well but midway through the first half he got clobbered and didn't look comfortable after that.

I think it has been so long since we had a genuine winger at the club that everyone has forgotten what they are like. They ARE frustrating, and will always put in more bad balls than good. But, at least once or twice a game they will put in a great cross and create a clear chance. That's why you put up with their frustrating moments.
[edit - it would help if someone taught our strikers how to attack the ball when it comes in though. Hopefully Kuyt will sort that problem out]
Speedy will come good given a decent run in the team, at the moment he plays one then is dropped for four so can hardly get himself going. If we see the Speedy we saw in spain last year i think we will all be happy.
Keep on rocking in the free world!
