He is only 25 and he could still get better especially defensively.

i imagine tottenham would want an arm and a leg for him from us though. trying to hold on to 4th spot. class player though. signed him more than a few times on fm.

They signed him for a fee of £2.5M (pocket change these days isn't it?) and even though I think his value went up as he had good 2nd half of season (before the injury) and he plays for much better team than Pompey, Spurs may be tempted to sell him if the right offer comes.

Tottenham will be adding few new players to boost their chances for CL and PL next year and they may be looking to unload and Niko, who will have tough time breaking in the first team on regular basis, himself may be interested in moving on.

Olic is a true late bloomer. He is getting better and better. He had an outstanding season with Bayern and he is not going anywhere. Bayern is a dream team for him and he wouldn't want to leave.

The one who may be on waivers is Kranjcar and I'd pick him up. He has a lot of creativity and finesse and imo to us he would bring badly needed depth. He can play in more then few different roles and formations and he wouldn't be an expensive acquisition.

I personally don't rate him highly and I don't think he would be a good signing for us. He is not natural LB but converted left winger, similar to Contrao, and his fragile build would be a big problem for physical aspect of PL in contrast to Contrao.

He has loads of pace and can cross with ease and dynamite left foot but defensively imo he is average at best.

He was a huge disappointment in Bayern last year and to me he would be a big gamble.

I am afraid imo he wouldn't be much better than Biscan (maybe I went too far..) the only Croatian thus far to put on LFC uniform..

I remember my father telling me when Vladimir Petrovic Pizon signed for Arsenal in early 80s, entire Yugoslavia (at that time) was proud of his accomplishment. He was a legend. I mentioned this as he managed like 15 games in only one season he was with them and he is still known today primarily as former captain of Yugoslavian team at WC in '82 and Red Star's legend and Arsenal "Star"..

Jova is in the same boat and for that reason I expected nothing but from Jova to publicly express his joy about signing for LFC..Still it is nice to hear that there are players out there that feel strongly about us.

The number has previously been worn by Anfield legends like John Barnes, Terry McDermott, Jan Molby, Luis Garcia and John Toshack.

It was last donned by another free transfer, Andriy Voronin.

Glad to see you omitted judas from that list.

I even hold Voronin in higher regard than that midget.
