Well most players are over-rated. That goes without saying. But Ronaldo is of course a far better player than Rooney who only ever looks good against the likes of Wigan and Blackburn.

To me it's obvious that Gerrard's international performances are vastly superior to the goal-shy alleged world class striker Rooney's. Opinion is one thing, but the facts speak for themselves.

Also the whole team was very good in qualifying for this WC.

They did all they had to do, but they were playing against very, very poor teams in fairness. It was almost impossible not to qualify from England's pre-World Cup group against such mediocre opposition.
