I think he was just saying that because Hodgson was sat next to him. He's said loads of times he prefers being a striker and fell out with Lazslo Boloni about it at Standard when he was put out wide.

He said the day before he prefers playing upfront. I'd trust the answer where he doesnt have Hodgson sitting next to him myself.

And not to mention he fell out with the manager last season because he was played out wide.

Anyway, regardless of what he prefers, his best form is as a striker so I'd play him there.

I'm with you - he's a primarily a striker but having said all that I'd start him on the left. I'd prefer us to stick with 4-2-3-1 for the most part - Milan on the left, Nando up front obviously.

From what iv seen of him I just don't think he's very good. I hope im wrong and that he turns out to be great but I predict he'll be sold next summer after he fails to impress

it seems to be a pre-requisite to have zero brains if you are on the left midfield. Riea, Bable and now Jova!
