When I got through to the ticket office the advisor gave me a choice of tickets. The first set were in the main stand in the 25th row more or less in line with the centre circle. The second set were also in the main stand but in the 8th row in line with the penalty spot (going towards the Anfield Road end).

I didn't really know which ones to choose, so i chose the 2nd set in the 8th row. What do all you regulars reckon, have i made the right choice? Are they good seats?

The last time i went to Anfield i sat about 5 rows from the back of the top of the Anfield road stand (restricted viewing), and those seats were poor!

The new seating plan on the Offal is great.

Check your ticket to get a more acurate view.

Cheers mate thanks for that. I was looking for something like this, all the other top clubs have had the view option for ages.

Something about not wanting to work under a foreign manager before signing for Spurs (after Charlton first) who were managed by........Martin Jol.

I reckon we may have a different system than the standard 4-5-1 that we play, due to Mascherano being suspened.

Unless we play a more attacking 4-5-1 with Aqualani replacing Masch?

I'm coming round to the idea of a 4-2-3-1 with the midfield triangle being Lucas and Gerrard deep and Benayoun behind Torres. I can't see Aquilani starting.

                I might start Babel too.

Ditto! My Sister is also having the family over and she has **** all when it comes to TV! May take my laptop over and hide in a room trying to find a decent stream... or... feign a dodgy tum and go home and watch the Match there...

If we dont win this - then we certainly are fooked! Ideally I'd like a trouncing before the Villa Game.

I reckon with Mascha being out Aquilani will start - uncontroversial. However, I think this will naturally make us more offensive and a little more vulnerable at the back - so I'd go for goals today. Unfortunately we're not scoring many at the moment and I can;t think of where they'll come from. In addition, I can't imagine what's going to happen down the right flank as it looks like Kuyt will get a rest which might mean no starting place for Johnson? I suppose El Zhar could get a game.

Personally I'd push Johnson up on the right and put some-one like Darby, if fit, in behind him. Who knows - it's going to be an interesting starting line up I reckon.

                    I'm going for a 2-2 draw.
                    Really?

If Aquilani starts I think we'll see, resting Kuyt kind of limits our options a bit IMO, if Riera is out as well:

                      Reina
                      Johnson Carra Agger Aurelio
                      Lucas Aquilani
                      Benayoun Gerrard Babel
                      Torres or N'Gog

Hopefully Riera can play against Villa at least, he gives the team the right shape. I wonder if we'll see 4-4-2 again with Gerrard and Lucas in midfield and Aurelio on the left with Benni on the right? That would mean N'Gog and Torres upfront though and I can't see that happening. Not sure if we win today tbh, but Torres is due a goal at Anfield.
                      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I'd like to see Spearing get a run out today with Gerrard in midfield if Aquilani isn't fit enough. It's about time he had his chance again.
