Of course, this rumour at least destroys that rumour that AA simply doesn't want to play as was apparently passed on by Gerro, Carra and some other player.
There is another rumour that we have bought a player who had spent half of his time out injured for Roma. Nice to see he is carrying his form through for us.
I dont think Rafa thought this one through. He doesnt fit his tactics when he is fit.
We needed a lampshade, he bought us a sofa....

Do you really think so? I thought he is just what we need, someone who passes the ball forward quickly and with intent. In the second half he got really tired which is to be expected I suppose but I look forward to see him in full swing.
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

No there is not just a piss weak attempt at sarcasm ... he was excellent last time out
Despite the sarcasm, I think Charly Chaplin has a point. There will be a lot more to come from Aquilani especially when he gets his shooting boots in order. My biggest concern is that he doesn't seem very strong though.
Also, I've heard mixed reviews on him from some Italians. Some say he's amazing, others say he isn't that good.
I was impressed by that move Aquilani did on the floor to keep the ball early in the Wolves match. I'm not sure that strength is always the answer but players do have to know how to use there body well to keep the ball and Aquilani did that well.
He took a few too many touches at times but that would seem natural for a player who is both coming back from injury and to a new, faster league.
When ever i saw him for Roma he looked awesome. I have high hopes for him if he can get over his injury worries.
