Also if anyone does have a couple of tickets going spare then I'll take them off your hands. Would make up for me driving to the Ticket Office at The Madjeski yesterday, only to find it was closed

easy choice i reckon, gotta rest all the big guns for what will be a hard second half to season in the league....

      cava

      darby
      skrtel
      kyrgiakos
insua (purely for fact that aurelio SHOULD be number 1 and insua should be played in games like this to get comfidence etc...)

      lucas
aqua ( needs game time )
      babel
el zhar ( if fit if, if not then perhaps aurelio )

      ngog
      pacheco

well i choose the same attacking formation, but think it would be crazy to go with the greek and skrtel as CB we need to win the FA cup dont forget and both those 2 are shaky defenders at the moment and would fancy reading to score with them at the back

i just feel that carra needs to start being managed with more care as he gets older. he can still do a job for us for another 4 years if we rest him when we get a chance. and lets not forget dagger only just back to form after 2 years of injuries. we need to take care of him. skirts just beeds some game time to get confidence back and what better time than a fa cup game where its not as big a deal if he ****s up than a league game where it could be a disaster. the big greek just gets a game as we really have no-one else.

LFC.tv suggesting that Lucas won't play on Saturday, as he is on 4 yellow cards and runs the risk of being suspended against Tottenham.

The yellow card amnesty has been bought forward to Dec 31st so I'm not sure this is true:

I'd like to see a nice mix of youth and experience, I'd like to see the likes of Darby, Kelly, and Pacheco get a game.

I'd see Aquilani sitting this one out, probably Torres too after a couple of games in a week and a big game against Spurs coming up. Cavalieri will play, I'd also expect to see Babel get a game
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I seriously can't believe people would be happy with a half-strength side.

We haven't won a ****ing thing in THREE years. Moreover, we have won two on the bounce and need another win to keep the momentum flowing.

If we 'rest' the likes of Torres etc and don't win Rafa will get slaughtered and rightly so.

Will this game be one to many for Aquilani ?

He has started TWO games all season!

Surely he'll be alright to start.

I'd adopt the Christmas tree formation for this one.

I'd think so, with a week rest for Tottenham, this should be ideal really.
                            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

To be honest though chap, if we can't beat Reading with a half-strength side (most of them will be internationals anyway), then it's a piss poor show. We can certainly afford to bring in three / four / five reserve players.
