The problem is I don't see constructive criticism, but rather people saying Rafa should be sacked, he can't motivate players (who are paid enough to be motivated on their own), people saying Insua is ****e, Aurelio is ****e, Kuyt is ****e etc ...

    How is this constructive?

Anyway, I'm off for a nice dinner. Enjoy the mud slinging.

I don't think they are that bad but they're not great. However I do think rafa has a talent for getting less out of a player. Another manager would definitely be able to use those players. Rafa has his good points, but getting the most from a player isn't one of them.
      Really?

People have done plenty of constructive criticism and they get shot down for it. By now we're all tired of pointing out flaws and ways of getting by them when nothing changes each game. You might aswell just cut and paste every constructive criticism levelled at the team from 4 months ago and it'll still be viable for practically each week. Theres just no point to bothering anymore. Nothing is changing. Its the same thing over and over again. If you remove the CL we won 5 years ago by cheating, what exactly has the team and manager done since? Why should they be excluded from being treated the same way Houllier and his team were?

This blind optimism is ****ing tedious isn't it mate? Rafa looks like he's lost the players IMO. Scully put it best earlier. People on hear talk about RB in the same breath as Shanks, Paisley, Joe etc. Its laughable. "Football is a simple game complicated by fools" as the saying goes. I can't think of a manager who complicates things as much as RB.

                Enjoy your dinner.

Don't forget if the dinner table conversation gets round to your opinion on Liverpool's dismal performance against Reading you can say you didn't see it but anyone who did and didn't like it should be constructive and stick their head in the sand like you have.

He'll probably make sure that she pays half. He'll get the calculator out

Fredo, don't get the calculator out. Use your hands and feet mate

No comment on ngog? i thought he was dreadful, plays beter on his own. We are better of playing 5-mid than 2 up.............says a lot about the squad tbh.

p.s. No slagging of Ngog, just as ****e day at the office

Rafa after today's poor performance ............................
                        "I'm relieved," said the Spaniard.

"To play in front of the TV and against Liverpool I think was a massive boost for them and you could see they played really well.

                        Trophy target

"They were pushing and working very hard from the beginning until the end so we had to do our job.

"It was a difficult game and the most positive thing is that we will play another game at Anfield."

Benitez selected a strong starting XI including both Gerrard and Fernando Torres and he has vowed to try his best to win the competition.

"We know that we have two clear chances to win trophies - the Europa League and the FA Cup - so we will try our best in both and keep improving in the league," he said.

"This is the way now so we try to win.

"Our aim is to win trophies so we have to start winning these games." then start winning these god damn games then

What did everyone make of Darby? I thought he was alot better than the last game he played(not hard i suppose).

He's a very good reader of the game and a decent tackler.

Ultimately though i'm not sure he has enough about him but at least he showed some promise.

I was there and it was a terrible terrible performance.

First half wasn't too bad, but the in the second we just couldn't keep hold of the ball. Reading on the other hand kept it pretty neatly without really threatening.

I think he got very little service so hence had very little impact on the game, he had a couple of nice touches when he was involved but they were fairly infrequent and not in dangerous areas. Also I don't think he knew what his role in the team was today because he's not used to playing in a front two, a couple of times I saw him look to make runs but he could see that Torres had made the run before him and he didn't know what to do then

He was one of our better players today, but that's not saying much really, I'm glad he got his chance, but he'll ultimately need a run in the team to determine if he's good enough, maybe he'll get that the next month or so with Johnson out, but I have a feeling that Carragher will start at right back for the Spurs game
