We're still a club on the rise, so I don't know where's the problem here, maybe AnfieldArse having an hissy fit?

Theres only one place we're going with these owners and it most certainly isnt on the rise.

That said I think it'd be cuntish if he walked out after 1 dodgy season, but be prepared for this to become the norm. We are going nowhere while these two own us.

If the Americans know anything about business, never mind football, they must pump some money into this team or the value of their franchise will dwindle to a fraction of what it was when they took over.

          how do they deserve better?

we are playing **** this season. those on the pitch need to take full responsibility

            i agree with this.

if they deserve better, then they should show some ambition, and *take* something better for themselves.

              I wouldn't.

He came to Liverpool three seasons ago thinking he was joining a team and a club on the rise. If not in terms of his individual performances, he must be gutted with the way things have gone for the club as a whole.

He's one of, if not the, best striker in Europe and he's in the best years of his life. He deserves to be playing for a side winning league titles and trophies on a regular basis.

I would be devatasated and upset, but the lad wanted to leave I wouldn't begrudge him the chance to play for Milan or Barcelona or the like for the next two or three years of his career.

After a good world cup we could genuinely recieve around 50 million for Fernando.

              Sad, but true.
Thank **** hes not like you then

Would that be the same Mashcarno who wanted off to Barca did not get it and then look disinterested for the start of the season or Gerrard who has been on and off Gash for most of the season ... Sure they deserve better ... A better ****ing kick up the ****ing Arse

I don't think its an entirely unfair question to be asking. I think Torres has more loyalty than the average player though, and his move to Anfield has seen him become the world class striker he showed all the potential of in Spain, but hadn't truly realised, so its not as if Liverpool hasn't worked out for him so far. I can't see him agitating for a move as yet.

Far more than about his desire to play for the club, I worry about what our owners will do when someone, probably Citeh, does put in a ridiculous bid for him in the summer.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                    Mine angry and defrauded young?

Unfair it may not be but down right silly it is. Anybody who thinks a man like Fernando Torres would leave the club which helped him become the Number 1 striker in the world, who is adored by the fans and who has gone of record more times than i care to remember for his love of the city and its wonderful people is just judging by there own flawed piss weak standards

I'd be shocked and disappointed if he did, but don't expect that he would hand in a transfer request. Torres stuck through thick and thin with A. Madrid - not sure what he won there (if anything). However, with the talent this lad has then he must expect to win the CL at some stage in his career and a league or two. If he believes he can do this at Liverpool (and let's face it, we went out of the latter stages of the CL in recent times) then I think he will stay for at least another season. I could only see him leaving if we (or "they") sold him. If we do win the Europa League or an FA Cup (admittedly not looking past Reading yet ), then I think he'd be happy enough.

Every player has a price though.

What would you sell him for ?

He will have one trophy at the end of this season, hopefully of course.
Then he will come out and tell us that now that he has tasted success with Liverpool,
                              he wants more,(with us).
                              I hope he's a red for life.

Why would Torres up stick just becasue there no CL football He spent Years at Athletico playing in the inter2bob cup and ther Uefa cup.

I persoanlly think He'll stay even if we don't Qualify for the Cl this season.
He said he only wanted to go to Liverpool From Athletico And I don't think the CL was that bigger part of the choice.
