    Carling Cup game....

Not on TV (as far as i know) and still plenty of blocks of tickets available. Only £20 per ticket too.

How many do you think will eventually turn up next wednesday night?

      So about 35,000 then.

Would be nice if it touched 40k, but probably unlikely.

      Shame really.

Remember, if we get to the final, there'll be a mad scramble of people without any loyalty points, begging for tickets

            35,000?

I thought we could fill 60,000 no bother.

Further evidence - if it was ever needed - that 60,000 seats is ample for us.

It's the Carling Cup FFS. We could easily sell out more than 60,000, probably, 75% of games. Reading league game sold out on the first day of general sale, while most games don't even get that far.

Be surprised if we sold more than about 25k, is there really a less important game than 3rd round of the carling cup?

I recall a first round match against Boro I think it was and the place was empty, was sat in the kop and could have had my pick of about 1000 seats.

We can. Make the carling Cup 3rd round £5 and watch the ground fill up. Essentially, its £20 for a reserve team game so its understandable that the place wont sell out.
