prob just knows he never gonna get a game for us while pepe and cava both here. he's a decent young keeper though.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

yep your right just found it on the site loan till the end of the month maybe leeds have taken an interest on keeping h: him,how many years do you reckon Reina has got at the club left is he 27 maybe 5 to 10,if so i think they will strugle to hold on to any good keeper here from the 18s up as non of them want to sit on a bench

No reason why he can't carry on till his mid 30's as long as he is good enough .......but he i think would like to finish his career back in spain

Ithink if he could get the number one spot back in spain for thr national team i think the same he would maybe make a move back over there,i dont think he would drop it on us but make a point hes served us well and like to move what worries me is how many spaniards will follow Torres is his mate and i dont like the idea if we dont make top 4 there is a line somewere in there contracts that they need to be playing champions league footie, keeps them in the lime light and they may go sooner than latter, well if Raffa goes then the club will empty quick coaches as well

From what I can tell Martin's only appeared 3 times for Leeds so far.

We have got a massive surplus of youngish keepers at the club, despite his contract running out in the summer I'm quite surprised we've offered him a new one (if we indeed have), he's 24 already and hasn't shown any real sign of getting near the first team squad. Suppose we'd rather nobody of any value was leaving on a free at the moment

Leeds fans seem to be reasonably positive about him for the very little that's worth - http://www.thefootballnetwork.net/bo...m?447,11174592

Leeds United are interested in securing a long-term deal for goalkeeper David Martin after extending his loan from Liverpool until the end of January.

Martin has agreed to remain with Leeds for a second month following his move to Elland Road in November, and United manager Simon Grayson is not ruling out a bid to keep him at Elland Road beyond the end of the transfer window.

The 23-year-old, who spent time on loan at Tranmere Rovers earlier this season, has made only one appearance for Leeds during a Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Accrington Stanley, but having joined Grayson's squad to cover for the absence of injured keeper Shane Higgs,

Grayson said: "We like the look of him and we think he's a good goalkeeper.

"Shane's obviously had his problems with injuries as well so I'm delighted that Liverpool have allowed David to stay. We'll address how long we keep him after that."

Martin joined Liverpool in 2006 after beginning his career as a trainee with Wimbledon FC – latterly known as MK Dons – but he has not made a senior appearance in almost four years with the Anfield club.

He was sent on loan to Leicester City last season and made 30 appearances as the club won the League One title, but his form failed to earn him a regular place under Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez.

Liverpool have agreed that Martin will stay with Leeds until January 30, granting him permission to play in this weekend's FA Cup tie at Manchester United.

His availability spared Grayson from potential selection problems after United's boss confirmed that Higgs had suffered another set-back in his fight against a thigh strain.

Higgs has not played since the middle of October and the former Cheltenham Town keeper is continuing his rehabilitation have aggravated the injury in training shortly before Christmas.

Grayson also has Casper Ankergren and Scotland Under-21 international Alan Martin on his books, but the extension of David Martin's deal has given him additional cover

He's 24?? Bloody hell, I knew he'd been here for a while but I didn't think he was as old as that.

Did well for Leicester last year - does anyone know why he didn't stay with them? Looks like he's got a lot of work to do to get in the Leeds team.

                      Good luck to the lad.

Yeah, its easy for one supermodel to love another, but we will see how much love there is whe one gets old and fat.

Pedantic but shouldn't the title of the thread be "refuses" and not "refused"?
