25yrs and this is by far the worst

In 25yrs of watching the Reds I've never seen a gutless pathetic bunch of overpaid pricks playing in our beloved Red shirt.

Not going to single anyone out but we are the most narrow, over complicated, dire footballing team in the football league at present. It is utterly dreadful and all down to one man.

When are we going to get rid of Rafa??

Souness's team was better than this.

It's nothing to do with G&H, it's all Rafa.

You don't think that the players are at fault then? strange.

A good manager would have them playing well - simple.

No that is called over-simplification and utter ****e.

And we have played far, far worse than that in the last 25 years.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

            But the performances were.

We've played 20 odd games on the trot of complete dross.

Very very true. I can remember way more embarassing performances and way more embarassing results. Trouble is that this isn't just a result, or a four match run - this is continuous & shows now sign of improving.

I desperately want Rafa to succeed but he makes it very very difficult to believe in him.

Some people have short memories. We were much worse - hard to comprehend, I know - in the latter period of Houllier's reign. And under Souness. The problem now is the weight of expectation, having just gone within a cunt hair of winning the title. Yes we're atrocious right now but we've been far worse.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Alonso out + rubbish form + players like Lucas + stupid rafa = this mess. In my opinion. The closest we've come to the title was when Alonso had his best season with us. Hyypia leaving must have had an effect behind the scenes too.

'I think you could score 1 or two goals without them (Torres+Gerrard) on the pitch' - Rafa

....bull****. I give up. haha film time then bed

I think what's happening now is just as bad if not worse than Houllier's final days.

We have been worse - we all know that. Problem is I that we've got used to not being crap and it hurts when we're crap again. I don't (or won't in the cold light of day) want Rafa to be sacked or to leave - I want him to do something to sort the F*&%$£!! mess out!

Blame the players if you like. It's the manager who is accountable.

the players have to take some of the wrap rafa isnt on the pitch is he and the same players (without Alonso) were more than capable of grinding out results last year.

we might not feel much love for rafa at the mo but he is still our manager and he deserves our support until such a time comes that he isnt.

Total bull**** thread title, the Houllier days where the darkest of the lot for me at least Rafa has a decent set of young players
